To convert kVA to watts, you can use the following formula:

watts = kVA * power factor

The power factor is a measure of how efficiently the current is being used in a circuit. It is a ratio of the real power being used in the circuit to the apparent power being supplied to the circuit. In other words, it is a measure of how much of the power being supplied to the circuit is actually being used to do work.

For example, if you have a circuit with a kVA rating of 10 kVA and a power factor of 0.8, the wattage would be:

watts = 10 kVA * 0.8 = 8,000 watts

If you don’t know the power factor of the circuit, you can use the following formula to calculate it:

power factor = watts / (kVA * 1000)

For example, if you have a circuit with a kVA rating of 10 kVA and a wattage of 8,000 watts, the power factor would be:

Note that the wattage of a circuit is always less than or equal to the kVA rating of the circuit, since some of the power being supplied to the circuit is used to overcome resistance and is not available for doing work.
